I had an absolute BLAST with this drawing :D Man, it’s been forever since I’ve had this much fun! I tried to work on this for more than my usual two hours, but old habits die hard. ^^' The style is inspired from Adam Duff (LucidPixul)’s style. This is an extension of an idea I have to make a Mario Universe that is significantly darker than the usual franchise. Queen Pesca is the evil ruler of this world, using pathogenic fungi on the carcasses from Marro’s uncontrollable slaughtering. This fungi “zombifies” the bodies, creating enslaved husks to serve the High Queen.
